Despite a smattering of snow, about fifty “Friends” gathered at Greyfriars on 1st February to hear an enchanting talk by Alice May about the time she came home to find her house (a cob cottage) literally falling down before her eyes and her journey back to living accommodation and sanity!
Alice is a very talented artist and has so far published three books - well worth reading. Her talk was followed by a seriously good afternoon tea.
