14:0080 Hymnathon - In Aid of Cancer Research

Written and organised by John Birch

Please help me to raise money for Cancer Research “80 Hymnathon” Last year my wife died of cancer after a short illness. I have been an organist for sixty-five years and on Sunday afternoon, 19th September, at Ringwood Parish Church from 2:00 to about 6:00, I will be playing 80 hymns to raise money for Cancer Research and to celebrate my 80th birthday Should you wish to come and listen during the afternoon tea, coffee and cake will be on sale and the proceeds from that will go to Ringwood Benefice. After a short break at 4:00, a small group of singers will sing along with the organ. If you would like to support me in making a donation, please sign my sponsorship form or make a donation directly, by following the link below https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/80-hymnathon

18:00The Well 6.30pm start - Refreshments from 6pm

The Well is a contemporary service that takes its name from the story in John 4 where a woman unexpectedly encounters Jesus at a well, and her life is transformed as a result. Our aim is that The Well will also be a place of encounter, through worship, sharing together, praying and listening to God. The style is relaxed and our hope is that whether you have been on the journey of faith for some time, or are in the early days of exploring, it will be a place that you will also be able to encounter God.

We meet at St John’s, Poulner on the 1st and 3rd Sunday evenings each month, at 6pm for refreshments, with the service beginning at 6.30pm We look forward to seeing you there.

18:00Reflections @ 6 All Saints, St Leonards & St Ives

Reflections @ 6 is a quieter more informal lay led worship style, perfect for the end of the day.

6pm every 3rd Sunday of the month at All Saints St Leonards & St Ives - All welcome.

09:30Prayer Gathering at Ringwood Parish Church

At St Peter & St Paul's we are beginning a journey of exploration into growing a new worshipping community, which we hope will connect with those people in our community who might not normally join our other services.

While we are not officially launching the service, a few of us are gathering to pray and worship on Sunday 25th April at 9.30am. We would welcome anyone who wants to come and be part of our intentional prayer journey, as we seek God's heart for this new worship community, explore where God is leading, and who might want to join with us on the journey.

All are welcome to join us. If you would like to know more about what is happening, please contact Revd Kay.
