Giving

Giving

Everything that happens in the six churches of Ringwood Benefice happens because of the generosity of people like you.

From funding toddler groups to Messy Churches and groups for the elderly through to maintaining our historic buildings for people to bring their children to be baptised in, couples to marry in and loved ones to be said goodbye to. All of this is down to your generosity you. Thank you! Ringwood Benefice is entirely dependent on the generosity of people just like you for all the things we do. If you could consider making a one-off or regular donation in support of our work, we’d be incredibly grateful.

Ways to Give

Give regularly through the Parish Giving Scheme
If you wish to donate regularly, the Parish Giving Scheme is the most efficient way to give. The scheme helps our local churches by recovering any Gift Aid automatically and giving you the option of ensuring that your donations increase in line with inflation. You can join the Parish Giving Scheme by calling their telephone number 0333 002 1271. Lines are open Monday-Friday 9-5pm. When signing up with the PGS you will need to quote the PGS number of the church you'd like to support, which can be found below:

St Peter St Paul, Ringwood -  416009221

St John's, Poulner - 416009221B

St Mary & All Saints, Ellingham - 416009121

Many employers offer matched giving schemes

Many employers offer matched giving schemes. In most cases, the company will match your donation pound-for-pound up to a specific amount; a handful of organisations will even double your gift. A list of companies that we understand currently match gifts donated by their employees is below. This list is not definitive, and many more companies may also offer this option.

If your employer is not listed, please contact the Human Resources or Social Responsibility Office at your workplace to find out if they operate a matched giving scheme.

Some employers may not match giving for religious purposes, though most will match gifts to special projects like our youth, children’s and family's activities and other projects.
